Nobody Loves Me

While Revelly was getting her dentistry yesterday, Mom decided to haul ME off to the V-E-T. I don’t understand why. So what if I was sick to my stomach near the litterbox that morning? So what if I would not eat my breakfast? So what if I went in for the same thing in June? Can’t a cat make his own choices?

I guess not. They gave me fluids and a couple of enemas, and sent me home. You would think Mom would be glad to have me back. NOT! She hauled me back in there again today, just because I still wasn’t eating, and the procedures yesterday had not worked. Now I am stuck in several ways: I got bloodwork, an IV to administer fluids, more enemas, and no trip home.

To Whom It May Concern (Mom)

What does it take to get a poor kitty like me fed? I am sitting patiently on your lap, purring and being oh, so nice. Still I wait.

And by the way, I heard a nasty rumor. There will be no food available for me and my fursibs after midnight because I am having a dentistry tomorrow. Tell me it isn’t so!!! I just had one five months ago. That’s a terrible thing to do to a nice cat like me!

Happy Again

Mom says she is happy at last: she is able to edit this website. For the last two or three days she has not been able to log in because of a “brute force attack.” No one warned her about these and how they would prevent her access to the site. She wants us kitties to be up to date at all times. We agree!

All’s Quiet on the Home Front

After the excitement of the last three days (celebrating Grandma’s 90th birthday and her great-granddaughter Amelia’s second), the house is quiet again. My feline friends and I can sleep almost completely undisturbed, except when Whacky Tail (Revelly) goes on the prowl. She’s with Mom now; hope she stays there!

Progress

Mom tells us she has been having lots of formatting problems as she tries to get this website working. The Search box originally blocked the header on her iPhone. She can’t get the background color to change (behind the printing). Finally she thinks she has a partial fix, but not really what she had envisioned. We felines are glad we can eat and sleep and let Mom worry about all that stuff.

Greetings

All of Steiners’ CATS are happy to report that Mom has finally created a header image and uploaded some pictures for the website. We need to be seen!

Don’t Shop, Adopt!

One of Mom’s earliest videos for her class at BBI was required to be “purrsuasive.” What better cause could she advocate than adopting a shelter cat? This video was uploaded to YouTube back in 2012.

Apologies to Paul McCartney

Mom really loves cats (DUH!) and was happy to use the skills she learned in her video making class at Birmingham Bible Institute to showcase her feline family, as in the following video uploaded to YouTube on March 30, 2013.

I Know How to Have Fun

When allowed to reside by myself–without all those feline “friends”–I can have a pretty good time. Mom published this video about me on Youtube on March 9, 2013.

Missing You

Mom used to say that of all her cats, I was the lightest on my feet. I could leap up on her bed and land without making a bounce. She was really unhappy when I suddenly became ill on March 3 and crossed the Rainbow Bridge two days later. She posted this video in honor of me on March 6, 2013.
